Built in the 17th century Old Barn Farm is a charming Lakeland guest house set in beautiful open countryside at the head of the Cartmel valley 1 mile from Lake Windermere. Enjoying superb views over Lakeland fells, the house has been carefully restored whilst retaining many original features to offer comfortably furnished and well equipped family accommodation.
This picturesque and tranquil location offers the ideal base for walking, sightseeing or to relax and unwind. Enjoy a hearty Lakeland breakfast of local produce, then stroll down country lanes, through ancient woodland or walk to Fellfoot Park the National Trust gardens on the shores of Lake Windermere.
